I recently went to the Broadway Diner and decided to blog about it. I love going to the Broadway Diner because I always see many different kinds of people there and all different hours of the day. The great thing about the Broadway Diner is that it is not very far away from Short Hills and also it is open 24 hours. No matter what time you go during the day, there is always very interesting people at this diner. The food is also phenomenal. My personal favorite is the western omelet for breakfast with hash browns as shown in the third picture. I also took a picture of the sign outside of the diner because it says its open 24 hours which attracts so many people and gives them very good business. The second picture is of the menu. There are so many different kinds of food on the Broadway menu. Of course there is breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but also you can order whatever food you choose at any hour of the day and/or night! I suggest taking a trip down to the Broadway Diner sometime soon to see the atmosphere and try out the amazing food!
I like the Broadway Diner's sign a lot. I like that they have a huge stack of pancakes on their sign, it amuses me. It's also interesting that they have "World's Best Pancakes" written underneath, which makes me want to try their pancakes and see how good they really are.
ReplyDeleteThe fact that the diner is 24hr establishment is very convenient, which fits in to the idea of diners as being cheap and convenient places for people to get a decent meal. This is also shown in the picture of your food. It shows that the diner gave you a good amount of food for (presumably) a good price.
Late night munchies. I think at one point in time we have all been to "Broadway" and have ordered pancakes, disco fries and/or a milkshake. I think we all love this diner because of how close and convenient it truly is. As FleetStreetNightmare said, whoever you maybe, the diner is also open 24 hours and has become a staple for all of the people in the area who want or "need" a midnight snack.
ReplyDeleteBroadway Diner is definitely up there in rankings with the Ritz in my opinion. This place has the best desserts, especially different ice creams. They're truly to die for. Many kids love to go there late on the weekends because of the fact that it's open 24 hours a day. Great food and great service.
ReplyDeleteThe broadway diner is the definition of a typical new jersey diner. The colors used the layout of the place and the furniture. Besides providing a complete diner experience the broadway diner also offers a wide variety of the typical american foods everyone loves. Depending on the time of day you go you are always bound to meet some sort of character, weather it is the waiter or waitress or another costumer it usually can provide a good story.
ReplyDeleteObviously a Millburn favorite. The last time I went I got Mickey's Pancakes and they tasted great! It is a great place to go and their 24 hour operation makes Broadway Diner so phenomenal.

I love this diner because it can be anytime of the day and I could still eat there. You definitely need to try there belgium waffles! They are to die for! The 24 hour aspect another great attribute to this diner!
ReplyDeleteThis was with me! Every time i go i get their Matzo Ball Soup, one of my favorite meals on their menu! This could be one of my favorite diners. Normally they have very good service, no matter what time you are there. I agree with Emma in that I love the sign. I can see it from up the road and know exactly where I am.
ReplyDeleteI go to the Broadway Diner all the time. Whenever I stay out late and there is no place open to go for food, I alway end up going to the Broadway Diner. My family and I often go there for breakfast and I always get the M&M pancakes.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the Broadway Diner. There is no way our diner even compares to that one. The fact that it is open 24hours, i feel, really makes it the place what it is. When it is late and I need a place to go with friends- I always go there. Quite honestly, I never really get foodfood at a diner. My choices are essentially pancakes and disco fries. I definitely need to try the disco fries there- cause I'm sure they are better than the ones at the millburn diner!
ReplyDeleteThe Broadway Diner is definitely a classic old school looking diner. Its a great place to go with a huge group of people. There is so much to choose from on the menu; they have great pancakes, milkshakes but unlike everyone else I say get the pizza fries instead of the disco fries.
ReplyDeleteYou gotta love broadway. Can even count how many times I've gone with my friends at odd hours of the night. Always going to remember Broadway. If you go though you got to stick to the breakfast foods, and the finger foods. Wouldn't recommend the burgers and some sandwiches are pretty good, but you'll more than likely be disappointed with your order.
